If you have a family and are thinking of relocating to Bristol, one of the things you’re likely to be concerned about is your children’s education.
But fear not, as six primary schools in the top 500 listed in the latest Sunday Times Parent Power Schools Guide 2018 are located in Bristol.
The highest ranked is Clifton College, which is at number 78, while SS Peter and Paul RC Primary School, Victoria Park Primary School and Waycroft Academy are among the others that feature in the Sunday Times List, the Bristol Post reported.
Bishop Road Primary School and Elmlea Junior School also made it into the top 500, out of almost 15,000 schools in England.
What’s more, three primary schools in nearby South Gloucestershire all made it into the top 200 – Watermore Primary School in Frampton Cotterell was the highest ranked in this area at number 91.
So, whether you’re moving to Bristol for work, or simply because you love the city and are keen to experience all it has to offer with your family, you can be confident in the quality of the education your kids will receive once you’ve unpacked after using removal companies in Bristol and have settled into your new home.
But it isn’t only the quality of the primary education you can look forward to in Bristol – the city is renowned for its universities and the University of Bristol has recently submitted plans for a new city centre campus that will deliver state-of-the-art education and research facilities if the proposals are approved.
